Basic barbecue sauce
Serves/Makes: 3/4 cup

1/2-cup (125 ml) catsup
1/4 onion, chopped
2 tbsp (30 ml) brown sugar
1 tbsp (15 ml) prepared mustard
1 tsp (5 ml) of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp (1 ml) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (1 ml) crushed red pepper

In a saucepan stir all ingredients together and cook 2 minutes over medium heat until onion is tender.

Honey Herb barbecue sauce Recipe
8 servings

• 1/4 cup dry white wine
• 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped*
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/2-cup honey
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1/2 cup onion, minced
• Salt and pepper, to taste

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. *One teaspoon of dried, crushed rosemary may be substituted

4 Cups Ketchup
1/2 Cup Prepared Mustard
1-Cup Malt Vinegar
4Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
4 Tbs limejuice
1/2-Cup Honey
1/4-Cup Molasses or Brown Sugar
4 Tbs Olive Oil
4 Tbs. Habanero Chile Sauce
4 Tbs. Ground Black Pepper
4 Tbs. Finely Chopped Onion
4 Tbs. Finely Chopped Parsley
1 Tbs. Crushed Fresh Ginger
2 Tbs. Tamarind Paste
1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
2 Tbs. Ground Coriander
4 Tbs. Garlic Salt

In a medium saucepan, add in the vinegar and spices. Cook over medium heat for a few minutes. Now add the remaining ingredients and cook with low heat to blend flavors for 30 to 45 min
